The Outposts channel operates 17 company-owned locations and 18 franchised locations across ten states, including Texas, Utah, and Tennessee, following the opening of the first Outpost in San Antonio, Texas, in 2020. Black Rifle Coffee was founded in 2014 by Evan Hafer, who began by personally roasting, packaging, and shipping coffee from a one-pound roaster in a garage.
