Most of the Company's sales are made to a network of over 300 wholesalers in the United States, along with a network of foreign wholesalers, importers and other agencies, referred to as Distributors. During 2025, the Company's largest individual Distributor accounted for approximately 3% of its gross sales, while the top three individual Distributors collectively accounted for approximately 7%. As of December 27, 2025, the Company had 2,736 coworkers, of which 168 were represented by unions or similar organizations. The Company was founded in 1984 as a craft brewery and competes in the craft beer category primarily with its Samuel Adams and Dogfish Head brands.
