It also has an equity method investment in Butterball, LLC, a producer and processor of turkey products. Through its subsidiary Seaboard Foods LLC, Seaboard is a vertically integrated pork producer whose operations consist of hog production facilities for internal genetic and commercial breeding, farrowing, nursery and finishing, and a pork processing plant in Oklahoma. Seaboard was originally founded in 1918 as a flour brokerage business and was organized as a Delaware corporation in 1946.
