Aviation provides support services to airlines and airports, including parking and transportation management, janitorial and maintenance services, passenger assistance, catering logistics, aircraft cabin maintenance, and transportation solutions. Two clients accounted for approximately 27% of the Aviation segment's revenues in 2025. ABM traces its history to 1909, when American Building Maintenance Company began as a window washing company in San Francisco with one employee. In 1985, it was incorporated in Delaware under the name American Building Maintenance Industries, Inc., as successor to the business originally founded in 1909, and in 1994 changed its name to ABM Industries Incorporated.
