The Company operates two divisions: the Industrial Equipment Division and the Vegetation Management Division. The Vegetation Management Division includes the operations of the former Agricultural Division along with mowing and forestry/tree care operations previously part of the former Industrial Division, while the Industrial Equipment Division includes the Company's vocational truck business and other industrial operations such as excavators, vacuum trucks, street sweepers, snow removal equipment, truck mounted attenuators, and grapple trucks and loaders. The predecessor corporation to Alamo Group Inc. was incorporated in the State of Texas in 1969, as a successor to a business that began selling mowing equipment in 1955, and Alamo Group Inc. was reincorporated in the State of Delaware in 1987.
