What this company does

Amplify Energy Corp. is an independent oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, development, exploitation and production of oil and natural gas properties. Its management evaluates performance based on one reportable business segment, as the economic environments do not differ within the operation of its oil and natural gas properties. Following the divestiture of its non-operated Eagle Ford assets in July 2025 and its East Texas/North Louisiana and Oklahoma assets in December 2025, its remaining properties, as of the date of this Annual Report, consist solely of Bairoil, in the Rockies, and Beta, in federal waters offshore Southern California. On December 31, 2025, the company had 184 employees, none of whom were represented by labor unions or covered by a collective bargaining agreement. As of December 31, 2025, its estimated proved reserves had decreased to 38.1 MMBoe, primarily due to 53.2 MMBoe of divestiture reserves and changes in commodity prices, partially offset by upward reserves revisions from performance and reserve additions related to Beta. As of December 31, 2025, its estimated proved reserves consisted of approximately 93% oil and 7% NGLs, of which 65% were classified as proved developed reserves. It produced oil from 204 gross and 204 net producing wells across its properties, with an average working interest of 100%, and it is the operator of record of the properties containing 100% of its total estimated proved reserves.
