What this company does

BKV Corporation's core businesses are the production of natural gas and the generation of natural gas-fired power from its owned and operated assets, supported by a closed-loop strategy enabled by its upstream, midstream, power, and CCUS businesses. The natural gas production business is engaged in the acquisition, operation and development of natural gas and NGL properties primarily located in the Barnett and in NEPA. Through its ownership in midstream systems, the company is engaged in the gathering, processing, and transportation of natural gas that supports its upstream assets and third-party producers in the Barnett and NEPA. As of December 31, 2025, it owned a 50% ownership interest in the BKV-BPP Power Joint Venture, which owns the Temple Plants, combined cycle gas and steam turbine power plants located in the ERCOT North Zone in Temple, Texas. In its CCUS business, the process involves capturing CO2 before it is released into the atmosphere and then compressing the captured CO2 and transporting it via pipeline to sites where it can be injected into Underground Injection Control wells for geologic sequestration.
