China Southern Airlines provides commercial airline services throughout Mainland China, the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions, Southeast Asia and other parts of the world. It also provides air cargo and mail services. The airline operations and the air cargo and mail services are fully integrated with airline-related businesses, including aircraft maintenance, ground services and air catering operations. In 2022, the Group carried 63 million passengers and had passenger revenue of RMB60,017 million. As of December 31, 2022, the company operated 1,327 routes, of which 1,223 were domestic, 94 were international and 10 were regional. Its fleet at that date consisted of 894 aircraft, primarily Boeing 737, 777 and 787 series, Airbus 320, 330, 350 and 380 series, EMB 190 series and ARJ 21 series aircraft. A portion of the airline operations is conducted through airline subsidiaries, namely Xiamen Airlines, Shantou Airlines, Zhuhai Airlines, Guizhou Airlines, Chongqing Airlines and Henan Airlines, all incorporated in China. Corporate headquarters and the principal base of operations are located in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province.
