Its C4I and Cyber segment mainly provides command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, data links and radio communication systems and equipment, cyber intelligence solutions, autonomous solutions and homeland security solutions. Its ESA segment mainly provides products and systems solutions to U.S. military, foreign military sales, homeland security, medical instrumentation and commercial aviation customers. Its predecessor, Elbit Ltd., was incorporated in Israel in 1966 as Elbit Computers Ltd., and Elbit Systems was formed in 1996 as part of the Elbit Ltd. corporate demerger, under which Elbit Ltd.'s defense-related assets and business were spun off to it.
