As of December 31, 2025, the company had approximately 16,000 employees globally, with a footprint of manufacturing facilities and Quick Response Centers in more than 48 countries. It reports a two operating segment structure, consisting of the Flowserve Pumps Division and the Flow Control Division. Flowserve Corporation was created in 1997 through the merger of two fluid motion and control companies, BW/IP and Durco International, and, under the name of a predecessor entity, was incorporated in the State of New York on May 1, 1912, with some of its heritage product brand names dating back to its founding in 1790.
