As of December 31, 2025, it employed approximately 9,600 people. Contractor business represented approximately 38% of its equipment rental revenue for the year ended December 31, 2025. National accounts represented 49% of equipment rental revenue for the year ended December 31, 2025. It changed its name to Herc Holdings Inc. on June 30, 2016. Herc Holdings was incorporated in Delaware in 2005 under a previous name.
