Imperial Petroleum Inc. was incorporated under the laws of the Republic of the Marshall Islands on May 14, 2021, by StealthGas Inc. as the holding company of four subsidiaries. On December 3, 2021, StealthGas distributed all of its outstanding common stock and 8.75% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Stock to its stockholders, completing its separation from StealthGas.
