In brief

What this company does

We are a provider of physical AI sensing solutions built on high-performance, active lidar systems for vehicle autonomy, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), robotic vision and a range of Non-Automotive applications. We were founded in 2013 by Luis Dussan, a member of our Board of Directors and our first Chief Executive Officer, with the goal of creating a deterministic AI-driven sensing system that performs better than the human eye and visual cortex. We perform the majority of our R&D activities in our 18,605 square foot corporate headquarters located in Pleasanton, California. Beyond automotive, our OPTIS solution enables us to collaborate directly with system integrators, software partners, and domain-specific solution providers across intelligent transportation systems, rail, aviation, ports, industrial automation, defense, and emerging infrastructure applications. We broadly define our two key end markets as Automotive and Non-Automotive.
