What this company does

nCino provides a software platform, embedded with data and artificial intelligence, that financial institutions use across commercial, consumer and small business banking and mortgage lending. It ended fiscal 2026 with over 2,700 customers, of which approximately 1,500 were depository financial institutions. Of its total customers, 620 generated more than $100,000 in subscription revenues, 114 generated more than $1.0 million, and 14 generated more than $5.0 million, and no single customer represented more than 10% of total revenues in fiscal 2026. It is currently deployed in over 25 countries, and promotes sales out of offices in the U.S. and Canada for North America, Australia, New Zealand and Japan for APAC, and the UK, South Africa and Spain for EMEA. As of January 31, 2026, it had 1,684 employees, of which approximately 70% were in the U.S. and 30% were in other locations around the globe. Its lending solution provides a loan origination platform for commercial, consumer, small business and mortgage lending that streamlines processes and enhances customer experiences. Its onboarding solution supports credit and non-credit onboarding, commercial account opening and enterprise-level onboarding through a unified digital platform, using automation, centralized data and CDD/KYC compliance tools. nCino was originally founded within a bank to improve that institution's operations and client service, and was spun out as a separate company in late 2011.
