As of December 31, 2025, it had 294 employees engaged in the day-to-day management of its fleet, including its executive officers, through Star Bulk Management Inc., Star Bulk (Hellas) Inc., Starbulk S.A., Eagle Ship Management (Hellas) LLC and Eagle Ship Management LLC. On April 9, 2024, it completed a merger with Eagle in an all-stock transaction. Star Bulk Carriers Corp. was incorporated in the Marshall Islands on December 13, 2006, and commenced operations on December 3, 2007 upon taking delivery of its first vessel.
