In Kakinada, India, Aemetis owns and operates a plant with the capacity to produce about 80 million gallons per year of distilled biodiesel from vegetable oil and animal waste feedstocks. The company sells substantially all of the ethanol, WDG, DCO and CDS it produces to J.D. Heiskell, which resells the products to marketers designated by the company. Aemetis, Inc. was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Cupertino, California.
