Its private cloud infrastructure solutions are available directly from Broadcom and through resellers and distributors, hyperscale cloud providers, value-added OEMs and VMware cloud service provider partners. The majority of its front-end wafer manufacturing operations is outsourced to external foundries, including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited. The company traces its origins to AT&T/Bell Labs, Lucent and Hewlett-Packard Company, and has evolved through acquisitions including LSI Corporation, Broadcom Corporation, Brocade Communications Systems, Inc., CA, Inc., Symantec Enterprise Security and VMware, Inc.
