Its Emerging Businesses Group segment provides construction-related solutions and products to serve domestic and international markets adjacent to those served by its North America Steel Group and Europe Steel Group segments. Its Europe Steel Group segment is composed of a vertically integrated network of recycling facilities, an EAF mini mill and fabrication operations located in Poland. CMC was founded in 1915 as a single scrap yard in Dallas, Texas.
