Through its derivatives clearing house, operated by CME, it provides clearing and settlement services for exchange-traded futures and options on futures contracts, exchange-traded swaps and OTC derivatives. In 2025, CME Group futures and options had an average daily volume of 28.1 million contracts. As of December 31, 2025, its global employee population consisted of approximately 3,875 employees, with 58% working in the U.S. and 42% in its various non-U.S. locations.
