Through its three lines of business, small business, middle & large business, and global specialty, Business Insurance offers its products and services to businesses in the United States and internationally. Personal Insurance provides automobile, homeowners and personal umbrella coverages to individuals across the United States, mostly through a program designed exclusively for members of AARP. Employee Benefits provides group life, disability and other group coverages to members of employer groups, associations and affinity groups through direct insurance policies and provides reinsurance to other insurance companies. The Hartford Funds segment provides investment management, administration, product distribution and related services to investors through a set of investment products in domestic markets.
