In brief

What this company does

Qualcomm derives its revenues principally from sales of integrated circuit products, including the Snapdragon and Qualcomm Dragonwing families of system-based solutions, and from licensing of its intellectual property, including patents and other rights. At September 28, 2025 it had approximately 52,000 full-time, part-time and temporary workers, the majority of them full-time employees. In fiscal 2025, revenues from Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi each comprised 10% or more of consolidated revenues. The company is organized on the basis of products and services and has three reportable segments. QCT develops and supplies integrated circuit platforms and system software with connectivity and low-power computing technologies for use in mobile devices, in automotive systems for connectivity, digital cockpit and ADAS/AD, and in IoT products including consumer electronic devices, industrial devices and edge networking products. QTL grants licenses or otherwise provides rights to use portions of the intellectual property portfolio, which includes certain patent rights essential to and/or useful in the manufacture and sale of certain wireless products. The QSI reportable segment makes strategic investments. The company incorporated in California in 1985 and reincorporated in Delaware in 1991.
