Its railcar production facility in Castaños, Coahuila, Mexico is certified by the Association of American Railroads, which sets railcar manufacturing industry standards for quality control. As of December 31, 2025, it had 1,986 employees, of whom 403 were salaried and 1,583 were hourly wage earners represented by unions in the United States and Mexico, with 1,916 based in Mexico, 68 in the United States and two in China. In 2025, revenue from the Company's top three customers accounted for 26%, 20% and 13%, respectively, of total revenue, and sales to its top five customers accounted for approximately 75% of total revenue. The company has been manufacturing railcars since 1901.
