Commercial automobile insurance, which accounted for 15.2% of 2025 direct written premiums, covers bodily injury and property damage to others, no-fault personal injury coverage, and physical damage coverage for an insured's own commercial vehicle, including individual vehicles and commercial fleets such as private passenger-type vehicles, trucks, tractors and trailers. Homeowners insurance, which accounted for 25.2% of 2025 direct written premiums, provides coverage for losses to a dwelling and its contents from numerous perils and for liability to others arising from ownership or occupancy, and is written on homes, condominiums and apartments. The company was incorporated under the laws of Delaware in 2001, and through its predecessors has underwritten insurance in Massachusetts since 1979.
