In brief

What this company does

The company is responsible for supplying VASCEPA to all markets in which the branded product is sold, including countries where the drug is promoted and sold through collaboration with third-party partners that compensate it for such supply. VASCEPA is sold principally to a limited number of major wholesalers, as well as regional wholesalers and retail and mail order pharmacy providers, most of whom in turn resell VASCEPA to retail pharmacies for subsequent resale to patients. Since VASCEPA was made commercially available in 2013, approximately 30 million estimated normalized total prescriptions of VASCEPA have been reported by Symphony Health. As of December 31, 2025, it had approximately 80 full-time employees located in six countries, of which 60% were located in the U.S. and 40% throughout Europe. The company operates in one business segment. It manages the manufacturing and supply of VASCEPA and relies on contract manufacturers in each step of its commercial and clinical product supply chain. Amarin Corporation plc was originally incorporated in England as a private limited company on March 1, 1989 under the Companies Act 1985, and re-registered in England as a public limited company on March 19, 1993.

EPS, diluted, dividend per share and shares outstanding are shown without shading, and a vertical line marks the year the share count changed — the series crosses a large, unexplained change in share count, so the years on either side are not on a comparable scale.
