We are a provider of genome analysis solutions that can enable researchers and clinicians to reveal answers to challenging questions in biology and medicine. Our mission is to transform the way the world sees the genome through optical genome mapping (“OGM”) solutions, nucleic acid extraction and purification systems, diagnostic services and software. The Company also offers nucleic acid extraction and purification solutions using proprietary isotachophoresis (“ITP”) technology. Through our Bionano Laboratories business, we also provide OGM-based diagnostic testing services. We were formed in January 2003 as BioNanomatrix LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. In August 2007, we became BioNanomatrix Inc., a Delaware corporation. In October 2011, we changed our name to BioNano Genomics, Inc., and in July 2018, we changed our name to Bionano Genomics, Inc. As of December 31, 2025, we had a total of 97 employees, 95 of whom were full-time employees and 2 of whom were part-time employees.
