Its fuel services business is an integrated uranium fuel supplier, offering refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services. It owns a 49% interest in Westinghouse Electric Company through a strategic partnership with Brookfield. Cameco was incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act on June 19, 1987, formed when two Crown corporations, Saskatchewan Mining Development Corporation and Eldorado Nuclear Limited, were privatized and their assets merged.
