As of December 31, 2025, it had 618 total employees in the PRC, including 172 in Beijing, 43 in Cangzhou and 403 in other regions. As of December 31, 2025, it had seven full-time employees in the United States. It commenced operations in 2002 as a Delaware corporation, merged with Targacept, Inc. in 2015, and completed a business combination in 2023 to acquire an indirect controlling interest in Gyre Pharmaceuticals, becoming Gyre Therapeutics, Inc.
