Myers Industries was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Akron, Ohio. Since its founding, the Company grew from a small storefront distributing tire service supplies into a manufacturing and distribution enterprise operating internationally, and in 1971 it went public, with its stock trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol MYE.
