It primarily conducts its business through its primary domestic bank subsidiary, PNC Bank, a national banking association chartered and located in Wilmington, Delaware. It was incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1983 with the consolidation of Pittsburgh National Corporation and Provident National Corporation.
