Its reporting and operating segments are Consumer Self-Care Americas, comprising its consumer self-care business in the U.S. and Canada, and Consumer Self-Care International, comprising its consumer self-care business outside of the U.S. and Canada, primarily in Europe and Australia. The CSCA segment develops, manufactures and markets self-care consumer solutions in the U.S. and Canada. Its branded products sold within that segment include Compeed, Dr. Fresh, Firefly, Good Sense, Good Start, Mederma, Nasonex, Plackers, Prevacid 24HR, REACH, Rembrandt, Steripod and Opill. The CSCI segment comprises consumer self-care product categories outside the U.S. and Canada, primarily branded products in Europe and Australia and store brand products in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe and Asia. Perrigo Company plc was incorporated under the laws of Ireland on June 28, 2013, and became the successor registrant of Perrigo Company, a Michigan corporation, on December 18, 2013, in connection with the acquisition of Elan Corporation, plc.
