UTMD markets a broad range of medical devices used in critical care areas, especially the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the labor and delivery (L&D) department and the women's health center in hospitals, as well as medical devices sold to outpatient clinics and physician's offices. Domestically, UTMD's medical devices are sold directly to clinical end-user facilities or designated stocking distributors for medical facilities. UTMD has representation globally in the major developed countries as well as many underdeveloped countries through approximately 200 OUS distributors, 108 of which purchased at least five thousand dollars in UTMD medical devices during 2025. At December 31, 2025, the Company worldwide had 140 full-time employees, 12 part-time employees, 7 regular consultants, 15 independent sales representatives and 9 outside (non-employee) directors of UTMD or its subsidiaries. Almost all of UTMD's internally-manufactured devices are made either in Utah or in Ireland. None of the Company's employees is represented by labor unions or other collective bargaining groups.
