Its primary insurance entities are Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company (UPCIC) and American Platinum Property and Casualty Insurance Company (APPCIC), which together offer insurance products through both an independent agent network and online distribution channels across a multi-state footprint concentrated in Florida. UPCIC, the Company's primary risk-bearing insurance entity, which accounts for most of the Insurance Entities' business, distributes policies primarily through the independent agency network and offers homeowners, renters/tenants, condo unit owners, and dwelling/fire insurance, along with allied lines and other property, liability, and personal articles coverages, while APPCIC, licensed only in Florida and Georgia, writes similar lines primarily through digital platforms.
