What this company does

Versant is a media and entertainment business that operates in four core markets: political news and opinion, business news and personal finance, golf and athletics participation and sports and genre entertainment. It serves these markets primarily through a portfolio of brands comprised of television networks operating primarily in the United States, including MS NOW, CNBC, USA Network, Golf Channel, E!, SYFY and Oxygen, and digital platforms including GolfNow, Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes. It generates revenue primarily through distributing its networks, selling advertising across its brands, providing services through its digital platforms and content licensing. As of December 31, 2025, the company had approximately 4,400 full-time and part-time employees calculated on a full-time equivalent basis. Over 50 million viewers watched content on a Versant network each week in 2025. It presents its operations in one reportable business segment. Versant was incorporated in Pennsylvania on May 1, 2025. Prior to January 2, 2026, it was a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast Corporation and operated as part of Comcast's Media Segment, before separating from Comcast on that date to become a standalone publicly traded company.
