What this company does

Braves Holdings, collectively with its subsidiaries, indirectly owns and operates the Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball Club. As of December 31, 2025, Braves Holdings and its consolidated subsidiaries had an aggregate of approximately 1,610 full time, seasonal, and part-time employees. The Braves' ballpark, Truist Park, is located in Cobb County, a suburb of Atlanta, and is leased from Cobb County and the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority. Braves Holdings manages its business based on two reportable segments, Baseball and Mixed-Use Development. Its Baseball segment covers operations related to the Braves baseball franchise and Truist Park, including revenue from ticket sales, concessions, local broadcasting rights, advertising sponsorships, suites and premium seat fees, retail and licensing revenue, and shared MLB revenue streams. Its Mixed-Use Development segment covers retail, office, hotel and entertainment operations within The Battery Atlanta and the surrounding area, as well as land under development adjacent to CoolToday Park. The Braves' history began in Boston in 1871 as the Boston Red Stockings, one of nine charter members of the National Association of Professional Baseball Players.
