In brief

What this company does

Cellectis is a clinical-stage biotechnological company that uses its core proprietary gene-editing technologies to develop products, including a portfolio of allogeneic Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (UCART) product candidates for immuno-oncology and gene therapy product candidates for other therapeutic indications. Its proprietary nuclease-based gene-editing technologies, combined with 25 years of genome engineering experience, allow it to edit any gene with highly precise insertion, deletion, repair and replacement of DNA sequences. The company believes that its agreements with AstraZeneca, Allogene and Servier have validated its technology platform, its expertise in the allogeneic CAR T-cell field and in gene editing, and its intellectual property portfolio. Its lead immuno-oncology product candidates, referred to as Universal CAR T-cells (UCARTs), are allogeneic CAR T-cells engineered to be used as an off-the-shelf treatment. It is focusing its initial internal pipeline in the hematologic cancer space, targeting diseases with high unmet needs such as ALL and NHL. Cellectis was founded in early 2000.

EPS, diluted, dividend per share and shares outstanding are shown without shading, and a vertical line marks the year the share count changed — the series crosses a large, unexplained change in share count, so the years on either side are not on a comparable scale.
