Entegris, Inc. traces its corporate origins to Fluoroware, Inc., which began operating in 1966, and was incorporated in Delaware on March 17, 2005 through a merger of Entegris, Inc., a Minnesota corporation, and Mykrolis Corporation, a Delaware corporation. The company subsequently acquired ATMI, based in Danbury, Connecticut, on April 30, 2014, and CMC Materials, based in Aurora, Illinois, on July 6, 2022.
