Pediatrix provides physician services including newborn, maternal-fetal, and other pediatric subspecialty care. Its national network of affiliated physicians provides clinical care in 37 states. At December 31, 2025, the network comprised approximately 2,295 affiliated physicians, including 1,350 who provide neonatal clinical care, primarily within hospital-based neonatal intensive care units, to babies born prematurely or with medical complications. Its affiliated neonatal physician subspecialists, neonatal nurse practitioners and other pediatric clinicians staff and manage clinical activities at over 360 NICUs in 32 states. Its maternal-fetal care line provides inpatient and office-based clinical care to expectant mothers and their unborn babies through affiliated maternal-fetal medicine subspecialists, obstetricians and other clinicians, including nurse practitioners, certified nurse mid-wives, sonographers and genetic counselors. Its network also includes other pediatric subspecialists such as pediatric intensivists, pediatric hospitalists and pediatric surgeons. Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. was incorporated in Florida in 2007 as successor to PMG Services, Inc., which had been incorporated in Florida in 1979 under the Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. name.
