In brief

What this company does

Currently, the Company’s principal asset consists of rights to profits from a license held by Yissum Research Development Company, Hebrew University’s technology transfer company (“Yissum”), which we previously held through our ownership interest in NewStem. NovelStem was formerly known as Hollywood Media Corp. The Company was incorporated in the State of Florida on January 22, 1993 and changed its name to NovelStem International Corp. in September 2018. NewStem was a development stage Israeli biotech limited liability company that performed research focused on human Pluripotent Stem Cells (hPSCs) in general, and Haploid human Pluripotent Stem Cells (HhPSCs), in particular. NewStem established a discovery bio-platform based on haploid human embryonic stem cell technology for genome-wide screenings and is currently using this platform for the discovery and development of oncology drugs based on synthetic lethal interaction and developing a personalized diagnostic for early detection of chemotherapy resistance.

Written from the business description in NovelStem International Corp.'s annual report to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, filed 26 March 2026. Every sentence was checked against that document before publication.

EPS, diluted, dividend per share and shares outstanding are shown without shading, and a vertical line marks the year the share count changed — the series crosses a large, unexplained change in share count, so the years on either side are not on a comparable scale.
