As of July 31, 2025, it had approximately 11,600 full and part-time employees, of which approximately 64% were located in the U.S. and 36% were located within its International segment. Its U.S. and International regions are considered two separate operating segments and are disclosed as two reportable segments. For the year ended July 31, 2025, it generated 83.0% of its revenue in its U.S. segment and 17.0% in its international segment. Copart was incorporated in California in 1982, became a public company in 1994, and was reincorporated in Delaware in January 2012.
